Children & Student Ministries

Our Student Ministries & Children's Ministries are designed to lead youth down a path that leads to Christ. Each level has its own theme and curriculum. All of these include a high energy, multi-media approach to reach our youth and keep them excited about learning about God. Our children are important! Getting them into the Word and living a life of faith is so important. It is an investment in your child’s eternal future!

First Steps (Birth to Age 2)
First Steps Children's Ministry Logo Children & Parents will find a large, clean, friendly, safe, and fun atmosphere in our nursery. They will be cared for by multiple people on staff at the same time. Our staff are background checked and we will provide a device that will notify you should you be needed during you time in the sanctuary. There will be only one point of entry/ exit to this area and only the designated person who brought them into the nursery can remove them from the area.

Lil-K (Ages 3-5/ Pre-School)
Lil-K Logo This area is also a secure, clean, friendly and safe room. All workers are background checked and there is one point of entry & exit. Devices are given to parents in case they are needed during the service. The children in this age group will have a video driven message that is done in a fun environment as they learn basics of Christianity. If your kids have not liked going to church before, you will find they love this class and it's energy!

KidMo (K5 – 5th Grade)
Kidmo's Children's Ministry Logo This group is high-energy! It is a video-driven curriculum that will have your kids coming back for more. It teaches great Biblical Principles and Values. It is has a single point of entry/ exit. Parents/ Guardians are cross-checked for security at sign in and checkout. All workers are background checked and it is a clean environment. Is it possible that your kids will drag you to church after going to KidMo?

Student Nights at the Y (6th-12th Grade)
If you are a Student... you need to be at this weekly event. Our student band rocks as they lead worship, a message is brought that is relevant to this age group, games are played, challenges are given, great firendships are made & more.

Every Sunday Night at the East Pasco YMCA.

College Age Group
You don't have to be in college but only in this age group. They gather once a week in a home. A teaching relevant to their age is given, open discussion takes places, and friendships are forged.

Night of Life (6th – 12th Grade)
Every 3-6 months, New Walk Church hosts a concert night at the YMCA where we bring in bands that will appeal to the younger generation of the community. Our next planned Night of Life is expected to be in late April. Check back to our calendar for more information.
