Baldus Family Lead Pastor - Gary Baldus
Pastor Gary Baldus, 35, is an ordained minister of the General Baptist denomination. He was called by God to plant a church in the East Pasco County area in October 2004. After serving the youth for several years at CrossLight Baptist Church in Zephyrhills, Gary and his wife Shawn were sent out by CrossLight to plant a contemporary church. Gary is a graduate of the University of South Florida (1994) and has lived in the area since 1992. Pastor Gary believes the greatest mission field in the world has developed in the U.S. and at the core is the American Family!

His wife’s name is Shawn. Shawn, who has a Masters Degree from the University of South Florida (2000), leads the New Walk Children's Ministry. That ministry has been exploding under her leadership. Gary & Shawn have 2 daughters: Sydney- Age 7, and Brooke - Age 3. They are also guardians of Mary Jo Boyette, 54, who lives with them. Jacob Hill- Director of Worship Arts
Jacob leads New Walk's Worship Arts team which has blossomed into an outstanding 8-person Sunday Morning Worship Team, a growing Drama Team & an exciting Contemporary Choir. His God-given, talented voice has been used already to reach hundreds in this area for Christ. Prior to coming to New Walk, Jacob was leading worship at a church in Missouri where he led worship for 2 years starting at the age of 15! Marc Sheldon Mark Sheldon- Connections Groups Director
Mark came to New Walk in 2006 and joined the staff of New Walk in 2007. He has a heart to see Christians raised up to their full potential. His desire is to see Christians grow in their faith and never looking back. At New Walk, "Connections Groups" are the vehicles used for further growth. Mark has already doubled our groups and has the desire to continue to grow them in quantity and participation. Deborah Malec- Director of First Impressions
Deborah joined New Walk in 2007 and leads a team of nearly 40 amazing volunteers that ensure New Walk's friendliness and care of every person attending. Deborah leads our greeters, parking, ushers, and hospitality as a part of the First Impressions Team. Since taking over this area, Deborah has helped to bring New Walk from one to two quality services in this area. Ron Jaggers- Director of Operations
Ron Jaggers joined the New Walk Team in 2007 where he leads the overall operation of the ministry from a financial standpoint. Ron is a graduate of University of Louisville and has a strong background in finances. Since joining New Walk he has brought a new level of organizational skills to the church which is helping the ministry in it's growth strategies. Renee Drinkwater- Director of Development/ Executive Assistant
Renee makes sure everyone at New Walk is given an opportunity to make their experience at the church the very best it can be. Renee is passionate about making sure people "connect" at New Walk by finding a place in the church community. Through connection groups, serve teams, & New Walk "Partners", people are discovering their faith & growing. Renee also works at an executive level by assisting our staff as a whole.
